After school support

Intended to help students with academic support after school

Archery

Hone your archery skills with both compound and recurve bows. We will work on various techniques as well as the focus and mindfulness essential to effective and consistent performance.

Chess

Students will sharpen their minds and enjoy the challenge of the game. Whether new to chess or experienced, students will build problem-solving skills, practice strategic thinking, and learn from peers and friendly competition. We will have instruction, strategy, and open play in a supportive and fun environment.

Communication Arts

Communication Arts Club combines aspects of journalism and theater to form an entertainment news program via traditional broadcast journalism, sketch comedy, podcasting, and script writing. Students will get hands-on experience in creating, writing, performing, and editing content to educate and entertain the student body.​

Leaf for Lunch

Combine your flair for cooking with entrepreneurial skills and work with the chef to pilot a new grant-funded lunch program for teachers. Students will build a budget and ordering system, create invoices, and work with the chef to prepare a variety of proteins that will be incorporated into a weekly salad option for teachers. This pilot program is being provided thanks to a grant from a GHS supporter who wants our teachers, who remain on campus during lunch to provide supervision and support so students can enjoy a safe and positive break in their day, to have access to a healthy, school-provided lunch option.

Art

The Art Club is a creative space where students of all skill levels unite to explore and express their artistic talents. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, this club offers a welcoming environment to experiment with different media and techniques, including drawing, painting, and sculpture.
