Gifft Hill School's 24th Annual Gala Dinner Auction will be held March 13, 2010 at the Westin St. John Resort Ballroom. Graciously sponsored by the Westin, this year's event is themed "Open a World of Opportunity" and proceeds benefit the GHS Scholarship Fund. The fun begins at 5:30pm with cocktail reception featuring Silent and Art Auctions. Featured artists this year are Toni Craft, Jonathan Doran, Tristan Ewald, Livy Hitchcock, Larry Lipsky, Ziya Neema, Patricia Orlandini, Aimee Trayser, and Denise Wright. Silent auction items feature fabulous travel packages, jewelry, electronics, and services.

Dinner will begin at 7pm with Westin chefs showcasing culinary specialties from Asia, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The Live Auction will offer travel packages such as a 13-day trip through Italy; 7 nights in Beaver Creek in a five bedroom condo; a week on the coast of Maine, and many, many more. We will also offer exciting boat trips, fabulous dining packages, and a myriad of local services.

Back by popular demand is the champagne raffle, and this year's winner will take home a spectacular diamond bead necklace donated by R&I Patton. We are now selling the "Golden Tickets" which are $100 raffle tickets that entitle the lucky winner to choose any package in the auction booklet (excluding Italy). New this year, is a spirited game that will enable one oenophile to win a "Wall of Wine". Please let us know if you would be willing to donate your favorite bottle to the cause.

You may preview and bid on auction items on www.biddingforgood.com/giffthillschool. We will be updating the site daily to include additional packages, so please check back often.

We hope to see you at the event on March 13th at 5:30pm. Please join us for a night of fun that supports a world of opportunities for Gifft Hill School students. Tickets to the event are available for $125 per person or $1000 for a table of ten. For further information on the auction or to purchase tickets,
